Pyrenees Duck Down Duvet

This down and feather duvet has an elevated ‘Fill Power’ due to the area where the animals are found. As they come from a cold climate, their feathers are considerably larger and have better insulation. Duck down is smaller than that of goose down but they are still plump.

A cotton cover makes this a cool option for the Spanish climate. The cotton cover is sewn with extremely close together threads which makes for a soft and matte finish. Making it a low maintenance but high resistance material.

Washing instructions

– Recommended to follow the ones indicated on the label.

-If washed in the washing machine, the ideal would be to use little neutral detergent and on a low temperature. The use of softener will damage the down, eliminating its natural properties.

– It’s important to correctly dry the product. Recommended to pop it in the drier on short cycles and on a low temperature to avoid the appearance of mould and helping the down regain its volume.

Maintenance advice

– Recommended to air and shake the product daily so that the down recuperates its form and original properties.

– It’s important to turn 180º the duvet every few nights to avoid any displacement and bunching up of the down.

– In case of wanting to store the item, we recommend using cotton bags to insure that the down can breath and doesn’t generate any humidity.
